“The opening act, start of a new beginning”

29 year old Bradley Green, who goes by the nickname ‘Blizzard’ is a rapper and producer based in Manchester, UK. Originally coming up in the bustling Manchester grime scene in the late noughties, Green found a following as part of grime collective Mayhem, who were featured heavily on Channel U in the early 2010s. Later participating in rap battles on Don’t Flop, and appearing on such platforms as SB:TV, Link Up TV, Fire In The Booth and BBC Radio 1Xtra, Blizzard quickly became a name that held weight in the grime scene. Later in his career, Blizzard took a more home-made approach to music creation, entirely self producing his projects and finding room for experimentation and genre-bending, as well as focusing his musical output on mental health awareness, as well as conceptual writing not usually seen in the grime genre which has been historically peppered with high energy and confidence. Blizzard’s most recent project ‘Demons Living Rent Free’ was released in September 2023, and is an insight to his life so far, dwelling on real life traumatic experiences and self-discovery. He has also produced for brands such as Vauxhall, LadBible, SportBIBLE, Combat Gaming and more.
